{"id":171,"date":"2009-03-09T18:59:38","date_gmt":"2009-03-10T00:59:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mish.ca\/wordpress25\/?p=171"},"modified":"2020-12-11T08:19:50","modified_gmt":"2020-12-11T14:19:50","slug":"no-pie-please","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.temptimes.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/no-pie-please\/","title":{"rendered":"No Pie Please&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thomas&#8217; verbal communication skills are improving dramatically these days, which has led to a number of amusing conversations that highlight a rather subtle sense of humor in this two year old.\u00a0 Recently when putting Thomas to bed I said to him &#8216;Goodnight Sweety Pie!&#8217;, to which he replied with a shake of his head: &#8216;me no pie, me boy&#8217;.\u00a0 A few nights before that I asked Thomas what his name was, he replied &#8216;me boy&#8217;, so I asked again and in a valiant attempt to pronounce the name Thomas &#8211; he in fact said &#8216;Toast&#8217;, which happens to be one of his favorite two food groups.
