Following up on my New Years resolution to run a half-marathon. \u00a0I DID IT! And I ran the whole thing. No walking necessary. \u00a0 2:13\u00a0is 7 minutes faster than I anticipated, entirely thanks to Meesh (preschool friend!) who dropped in to run it with me between trips to Sweden and Taipai. As an aside, Meesh is currently training for the Crowsnest Pass Sinister 7 in July – 147 km trail race. \u00a0Something to strive for !?! \u00a0Maybe not this year. \u00a0Very sorry for Imbaw – who trained for this Half \u00a0too, but had to pull out with a strained calf 2 days ago. \u00a0He knows what he did wrong and is looking forward to running a Half in august. \u00a0Manitoba (half?) marathon next year! \u00a0Hope some of you can join me for it! \u00a0For now I’m going to ramp the running down a bit and hit the water with our new kite board! WooHoo!<\/p>\n
